【报告摘要】:Since the discovery of graphene, two-dimensional (2D) materials have attracted significant interest in photonics and optoelectronics. In this talk, I will introduce our recent computational studies (based on many-body perturbation method) on the linear and nonlinear optical properties in 2D materials. Our calculations cover wide band gap semiconductors of blue phosphorene [1-2] and violet phosphorene [3-6], 2D ferromagnet CrSBr [7], as well as recently synthesized mixed-dimensional C60 network [8]. Various modulation methods including layer control, strain engineering, and electric field effect are demonstrated to tune the electron-hole excitations and consequently the optical responses. Besides the linear optics, based on the real-time approach, we further explore exciton-enhanced nonlinear optical responses in some 2D materials and reveal strong second-harmonic generation and shift photocurrent in the monolayer of ferroelectric NbOI2 [9] and GeS [10].

【报告人简介】:雎胜教授,现任职于苏州城市学院光学与电子信息学院、江苏省(苏州市)生物光子科技重点实验室。2004年获得苏州大学凝聚态物理博士学位,随后分别在台湾大学和加州大学伯克利大学从事博士后研究。2009年底加入苏州大学物理科学与技术学院,2011年晋升为研究员。2023年底调入苏州城市学院,担任光学与电子信息学院院长。近年来研究兴趣主要集中在二维材料中激子效应及其相应的线性和非线性光学特性。已在J. Am. Chem. Soc., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, ACS Energy Lett., Energy Environ. Sci., Adv. Funct. Mater., Phys. Rev. Appl., Phys. Rev. B., Phys. Rev. Res., Appl. Phys. Lett., Opt. Lett.等期刊上发表学术论文六十余篇。先后主持五项国家自然科学基金项目,一项江苏省科技厅重点项目和参与一项科技部重点研发计划子课题。
