【报告摘要】:In nonlinear systems, it has been found that the geometric phase of the eigenstates includes the Berry phase as well as additional geometric phases. We systematically study the adiabatic process of a one-dimensional classical integrable system and establish the theory of adiabatic deviations, which provides a systematic explanation for the origin of the additional geometric phases in nonlinear systems. When the nonlinear system is in a non-eigenstate, the additional geometric phase loses its geometric nature and evolves into pollution. Furthermore, in a two-level nonlinear system, we use the theory of adiabatic deviations to establish a selection rule for bifurcation adiabatic evolution, making it possible to generate the Berry phase by manipulating just one parameter. Finally, based on the theory of adiabatic deviations, we systematically investigate the sufficient and necessary conditions for the adiabaticity of ordinary quantum systems, supplementing the traditional adiabatic conditions and providing a more systematic set of adiabatic conditions.
【报告人简介】:Zhang Qi is a professor at Liaoning Shihua University. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Northeastern University in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Between 2007 and 2011, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the National University of Singapore. From 2011 to 2013, he served as a professor at the School of Physics, Zhengzhou University. From 2014 to 2022, he was a professor at the College of Science, Zhejiang University of Technology. Since 2022, he has been teaching at Liaoning Shihua University.
